Outer Spaceways Incorporated: Kronos Quartet & Friends Meet Sun Ra Limited Edition Vinyl

Kronos Quartet & Friends Meet Sun Ra is stacked with some of the most innovative artists active today—from multidimensional electronic musician Jlin, to Moor Mother and DJ Haram’s radical noise/rap project 700 Bliss, to abstract hip hop luminaries Armand Hammer, to avant-garde hero Laurie Anderson, to minimalist pioneer Terry Riley. As a capstone to Kronos Quartet’s 50th anniversary, the group joined forces with Red Hot to create Outer Spaceways Incorporated.

Founded in 1989 at the height of the AIDS pandemic, Red Hot is a NY non-profit that produces music and media dedicated to social change. Their mission is to raise awareness about diversity and equal access to health care. The company has produced 25 projects to date and given away over 15 million dollars to organizations around the world.
