Sarah Nsikak is a textile artist and designer living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Her work draws inspiration from traditional sewing passed down to her from her grandmother, who was a seamstress in her Nigerian village, and the quilt-making practices of African American quilters, to create tapestries made of recycled and vintage materials.
