You were born and raised in the Andes in Argentina but you call Buenos Aires your home, what is different about it?

“I love Argentina, and with every trip back, my love for it grows deeper—along with my discoveries in art, design, and, of course, restaurants. There’s always something new and exciting happening, from charming cafés on every corner to ice cream shops, wine bars, design stores, and local craft markets.”

If you could plan the perfect day in BA, what would it look like from morning to night?

“I’ll start my day around 8 a.m. with a coffee at a café in the neighborhood of Recoleta, then head to Mercado de Pulgas in Palermo. For lunch, I might go to Corte Carnicería in Belgrano before heading back to Palermo Viejo and Chacarita for a walk. I’ll visit my friends at Nimes and Facón, and maybe grab an ice cream at Obrador Florida.

In the afternoon, I’ll rest for a bit at home in Recoleta. Around 7 p.m., I’ll go for drinks at Bar Naranjo in Chacarita—where I might end up spending the whole night. If I’m still hungry, I’ll stop by Helados Scannapieco, just a few blocks away.”

If BA were a person, how would you describe its personality?

If Buenos Aires were a person, it would be charismatic, bold, and effortlessly stylish. This person would have a deep appreciation for food, art, music, and literature, with the soul of an explorer.

This person would also be fiercely proud of their heritage. A lover of good food and conversation, knowing the best hidden cafés, parrillas, and underground speakeasies, always eager to share their favorite spots.

Above all, Buenos Aires as a person would be intense yet welcoming, cultured yet rebellious—a true storyteller, constantly evolving but never losing its essence. And over all the most resilient person in the world.
